Listen to The Yeti.................If only we could have a Life-Time-Warranty!
In my opinion after using The Pelican ProGear Elite my old Yeti is no longer the go2 cooler on my boat!

I owned a white YETI cooler (Tundra 50) for a fishing boat in the Northeast. I decided to move up with size wise and was concerned about spending so much money on another YETI... that one has a limited warranty, and two due to branding is a high theft item. I researched high and low, and ended up go with the aforementioned USA made cooler that has a life time warranty. Don't go with this product thinking your going to save money, as it is still not cheap. However, it is a far better product then YETI. The ice maintained twice the time of a YETI. In my opinion I would attribute this to a better seal and securing mechanism. I did look at other USA made coolers but at the end of the day this was no doubt the best bang for the buck.

Fantastic performance
This cooler kept a quartered deer cold for days in 70 degrees and kept beer from freezing in single digit temps

built like a tank
This is an extremely well made cooler. Heavy while empty. Will take two people to lift when full. Haven't tested it for ice retention yet
