Pelican 9440 light is well made and glad to see opticsplanet had it in stock and I had it in 3 day with the fast shipping service they have, I tryed to order one of these from a company in NY that didn't carry them in stock which I didn't know when I tryed to ordered my first light, so after 2 weeks backorder and 3 weeks wait to get my money back on my CC card I order this light from Opticplanet with no waiting backorders they had it in stock like a company should, all the other websites online was too costly for this light and didn't even have them so beware. I have found that a sleeping cot military storage bag will fit this light just right and it worked great for me. The only thing about this light that concerns me is that if I need to replace the battery it will be 300.00 from Pelican but I havnt seen any problems to date and when I do need to get one it will be years away.
Pros: They had it in stock and item is well made not too heavy
Cons: Pelican needed a softcase for this unit
