Best By Far!
I’m old school special forces retired over 20 years ago. We used Pelican cases then and I use them now! Super tough cases! Ive had basement flooding issues in the past but no concern as the gun cases were sealed tightly and floating around!
Sturdy case
Very sturdy and durable case for your prize artillery
Best Used for:
- Tactical and hunting transport

Great case, especially for the price
I looked everywhere for a hard case that can carry two rifles with optics, and this seemed to be the best option. Other "two gun" cases simply don't work well if both guns have taller optics. Very well made, better latches than anything I've seen in this price range.

Pelican Vault V730 Tactical Rifle Case
Previously was using one of the Harbor Freight large rifle rolling cases but was never truly thrilled with it. It latched stiff and was a lot longer than needed for an AR...better fit to a long bolt gun or shotguns.
This has way nicer latches and handles and fits things great. For reference, I traced and cut everything out and there was enough room for my suppressed AR15, ear muffs, safety glasses, 6 mags standing on end, small notebook and marking tools, and I still have a space that has yet to be cut out for anything. Very happy with my purchase and now understand why so many people that regularly travel with firearms get the Pelican cases.

Best Rifle Case Ever
The Pelican V730 is by far the best case I have ever owned, It is built like a tank and has plenty of room for 2 weapons and all the accessories you could want to carry!!! Magpul also makes an organizer for the V730 that makes this the best case around (for the price) and keeps everything nice and snug! The only drawback is the weight, the V730 by itself is not light but when loaded with 2 weapons and ammo plus anything else you want to stick in there, it can be a chore to carry around. I also like the locking mechanisms, they are very solid... add 2 good padlocks for security (if needed) and you have a case that Fort Knox would be proud of!!!
Pros:
- None
Cons:
- weight

Excellent in every way!!!
It’s big enough to fit 2 AR’s with scopes.
It’s very heavy duty for those range days and meets all my expectations in quality! Definitely buying more !

Pelican v730 review
I have one of my ARs set up with night vision scope and it would not fit in the case I originally ordered. Pelican recommends having any components an inch or more away from the side of the case which was not possible with the previous case. Optics Planet helped me with a return and exchange and in just a couple of weeks I was back in business. The case is solid and any firearms you place in it will be well protected. I would advise that you take great care when cutting the foam for your components. Don't get too detailed when marking out the components. You don't need to draw around every nook and cranny. And by all means be careful with the cutting. Keep you blade at 90 degrees at all times or you'll be ordering some replacement foam (which Pelican has readily available). If you are setting it up for multiple ARs it has more than enough space unless you have a big honking optic (like me) and you don't want it off and place it in its own area.
Pros:
- Sturdy
Cons:
- Heavy
Best Used for:
- long guns

very secure
I'm looking forward to taking flight with this case. Have a trip planned and needed something to fly with. Cutting the foam worked out better than I'd anticipated. I use my Havalon. Everything I wanted to take is fitting nice and snug and I'm sure all will be intact when I arrive. Excited for my trip and couldn't feel more confident with the security and safety of my tools.
