Don’t waste your money
I don’t usually do reviews but I’ve been fooling with this headset for a year trying to get them to work. Got the FL6AF nato Y harness adaptor for use with a disco32 nexus PTT and a radio and neither audio will come into the speakers or out through the microphone. Tried other ptts and harnesses and it’s clear the headset is not gonna work for this and is just some overpriced earmuffs. 3M customer support is no help and now they’re out of the return window
Very usable product
3m has evidently merged with Pelter since the last time I purchased a 3M product. I like the first set of these muffs, and I think the product upgrades are a value-added benefit. The ease of adaptability is intuitive and sturdy. Sound quality for ambient speech is good for my poor hearing. sound canceling is very good for multi round battery. I will buy an extra set of these muffs and use them as standalone equipment not as an ARC mount. The reason I didn't pick the 5th star is because I ordered them as a 2 day shipping and they showed up 6 days later just before I left for a weekend training mission.

Expensive hearing protection nothing else
Bought this thinking it had a downlead for Comms and as the title states this headset is for hearing protection only, so if you want some cool ear pro and have money to burn it’s good. I just give it to my wife for range days now and I bought some Vs for Comms

Best headphones
Better than sordins by far. The gel pads are comfortable. Easy to swap out the headband and mount onto a helmet. The headband is best if you get a replacement pad. It can be a little uncomfortable for long use.
