This product looks good, feels good and presents a good picture up to 800 known feet . Have not tested beyond that. The 80 mm is the item purchased. Main reason for purchase was for digiscoping , wildlife observation since I am approaching 90 and don’t drive any more. Reaching optics planet for finding digiscoping adapter for this model has been unsuccessful. Much search has been done to find a sensible and working adapter has been unsuccessful. Prospective buyers should get answers about adapters before purchase and also find a different brand and seller before purchasing Pentax from optics planet. For sure. Find out about focal length and oversized outer eyepiece ring. BEWARE �
Pros:
- Good ergonomic design, appears sturdy, handles good and good image to 800 ft.
Cons:
- Oversized outer ring on eyepiece, unknown who really made item, and lack of helpful response from optics planet. Prospective buyers not cautioned about difficulty finding adapter that readily works.
