Worth the money
The default B/W did not work too well for docs. that were partially faint, but scanning at the default color settings resolved that. I used it initially to scan in receipts for making a Flexible Spending Acct. claim. That involved taping various sized receipts on a plain 8x11 page and running it through. As long as the top of the receipt was taped down, the scanner handled it without problem. You quickly get the feel for how to feed the paper so it tracks straight. A nice, convenient item that uses limited desk space.

Only issue I had when I first used device was to download twain driver from the internet, before I could use it.
