This shield does a nice job of saving your eyes from wood chips and it is simple to attach using the buttons provided. However, the way the buttons hold the shield on the helmut leaves a bit to be desired. The amount of material in the locking mechanism of the buttons is minimal and the stability of the lock is rather poor. The shield will fall off the helmut with the very slightest bump. I love the Petzl helmut, and the idea behind the shield attachment could be very convenient, but please make the buttons engage more solidly.
