Fine Upgrade
I do a lot of cold weather hunting/range time using gloves. This guard gives plenty of room. You can practically wear mittens. Easy install using common sense. If you have the funds, I would recommend getting one of the push pin install tools and follow the directions. Little Crow and Magpul makes them. I use the Little Crow. Not cheap, but alot cheaper than a new lower. After install I noticed gaps by the ears. No big deal to me, but might be to others. 2nd time I have used this winter trigger guard.
This is the second time I have ordered these trigger guards. I used the same item on my Ruger SSR piston system AR years ago. I recently ordered these 2 for 2 other AR15's. They have plenty of room for gloved fingers, even with large hands. It is quality machined with excellent fit and finish.
Pros:
- Excellent fit and finish, plenty of room even for large gloves hands, and looks very very good.
Cons:
- No complaints, love Phase 5 parts

Looks good and fits well. Gives lots of finger space for gloves when shooting. The color is really close to my other odg furniture, close enough it doesn't distract but definitely a slightly different hue.

Phase5 blue trigger guard
This is a cool trigger guard, perfect for adding a little bit of color & interest to your rifle, especially when you also add a (blue in my case) magazine release & selector switch. I did create minor nicks in the finish while installing, but if you’ve installed trigger guards on AR’s before you should be fine.

This guard fit my Colt like it was an original part! The fit was unexpectedly PERFECT.Plenty of room, finish is nice, and install took about a minute, of course, it helps to have roll punches, and the correct ones at that.
