Most Helpful Positive Review If your tired of plain old round buffer tube
The Hex buffer tube is for you. This is only the buffer tube. The SB mini brace is sold separately. If your not sure you want to go the brace route or not get the Hex tube now and you can always add the SB mini brace later. The Hex tube is specially cut to fit the internal grooves in SB mini brace. ...

Most Helpful Negative Review Phase 5 Weapon Systems Inc Hex-2 AR-15 Pistol Buffer Tubes f/ SB Mini Brace
This tube DOES NOT come with the brace. After I purchased the this tube, it arrived almost a month later without the brace. I call OP about the brace and was told to call Phase 5 to have it replaced. Ok soooo...... BE AWARE that the hex 2 and 1 are different in many ways and this will help guide u to witch one ya want both are prolly Great . any way the hex 2 has a hex shape only about 30%of it ...under the pad is round... I thoughts it'd be hex like the rest but that's the hex 1 that is completely hexagonal all the way down the tube ... If i knew that id prolly go for hex one since it would look nicer and it would jive well with the ums stock if things were to go that way for yours ...idk why i thought it would be hex all the way down smh but ya gotta re read everything and really pay attention to what the description says and go to manufacturer website to cooberate.. it looks great optics planet did nothing wrong here ...i dont feel cheated our anything just kick my self for not taking more time to research.... If its a pistol I'd say go hex2 and on the other spectrum id say hex1 to bridge the stock and tube nicely .. but yet again that . makes ya jump thru hoops if ya get my drift .again nice product... cheek weld feels nice... Dont expect more than that of course.... After all it just a tube ppl dont forget that lol.... Take care happy shootin....
