Not completely for the mossberg 500/590 - Phase 5 Weapon Systems Inc Low-Drag Shotgun Follower 12 Gauge High Visibility

I give it three stars because it it does a lot of thing great except for.... It does not extend as far into the receiver as the stock part. The last cartridge out of the magazine tube can get stuck underneath the receiver as it rides up the face of the follower (especially if the gun is pointed down at about a 45% angle) on its way to the chamber. This only happens on the last one out of the magazine tube as normally a base of a cartridge is there to prevent this from happening. Here is how you can see it easily occur with the Phase 5 installed. With a unloaded gun and the muzzle pointed down at an angle so the cartridge does not fall on its own through gravity into the chamber as you try this, open the action and put a cartridge in through the ejection port on top of the shell lifter as to directly load a single cartridge into the chamber. As you slowly close the action you can see were the front of the shell can catch. This will not always happen depending the position of the firearm or how fast you are operating the mechanism but it can easily occur and can really throw you off when it does. Now put the original follower back in, problem solved.
