Very nice upgrade

The OEM follower that came with my new 590A1 seemed to work ok but was just a cheap piece of thin metal. This follower is much nicer and is clearly “slicker” when riding in the magazine tube. Only improvement I would make is if the manufacturer would get rid of all the white text on the end face.

Phase 5 follower

Great quality and machining you’ve come to expect with any Phase 5 product. Finish is excellent, fitment seems to be on par. Functionality could be slightly improved on, not all magazine tubes are created equal.

12 guage follower

After the last round is ejected, The chamber will not release by pushing the release button the follower is to proud need to push the follower and then you can send it home by using a tool. Not for 1301 tac mod 2

Great product and price

Nice follower, used on my SDS Imports S4 Benelli M4 clone, fit was perfect it is about 5/8" shorter than the factory follower which allows for the full capacity to be loaded. (All shotgun shells aren't the same length, some are a little longer than others) This follower was used towards 922r compliance, check with proper agencies and sources to ensure full compliance.

Great investment

This item was very easy to install and the red is very visible plus it adds some color! So fat I have not had any problems. I wish it didn't have the letters, but I guess they need to advertise. Other than that, it's great.

Great addition to the Wilson Combat mag tube extensions

I got this after reading reviews on the Wilson Combat mag tube extension for a remington 870. The reviews were correct that the followers in the kit were plastic, so i opted for this one from Phase 5. Nice solid follower, aluminum, and priced fairly cheap compared to others of nearly the same design. Way better than the plastic factory or the plastic follower in a mag tube add on package.

  • Upgrading from plastic followers

Phase 5 Low Drag Shotgun Follower

This follower does exactly what it is supposed to do. It has a great color that is very easy to see to make sure your weapon is empty of any rounds. It is absolutely a great upgrade from the stock piece of plastic that comes with the 870. Seems to have little to no drag and performs great!!!

Solid upgrade

This follower is an easy upgrade from stock stamped sheet metal one. Less contact points so less friction. Immediate difference when feeding a full mag tube. The green is easy to see and has a hole in the middle for tactile identification as well. All my Mossbergs have one of these followers. Even the wife’s 500 persuader. ��
