Just not worth it, IMO
I bought this thinking it would be a great item to tame the recoil of a 12 gauge. I'm not recoil shy, but I'm getting older, so I figured why not. This is supposed to tame the recoil by 50%. If it does, I can't tell. Also, because of the cheek rest sitting higher, I had to smash my face into it to line up my ghost ring sights. It would work, I believe, for someone who mounted a scope or a red dot in that respect. But if it doesn't do as advertised (tame recoil), what's the point of spending the extra cash?
