Plano medium storage trunk rocks!

The 68 quart medium storage trunk by Plano is a sensible choice for stowing everything from cold-weather gear to shooting gear and accessories. The trunk itself is quite rigid and sturdy; this, coupled with a lid that snaps securely into place and has the ability to accept a padlock has the further benefit of being stackable. I ordered two trunks and was so pleased with them that I ordered 4 more. They fit nicely into a closet and make it very easy to organize all my gear.

Good but Stinky

I liked the size of the containers, they can hold a lot, but a small enough to handle easily. My only things I would change are that these have a very strong plastic smell and I would add 2 more clips, so that it is secured on all 4 sides. Overall I'm happy with them and would recommend them.

great for airline travel

My husband flies from the US to Africa and back every other month using these trunks with no problems. The other ones we have found have wimpy hinges that we feared would fail. No hinges here and they nest to store so when I find them, I buy a few.
Pros:

Great for storage - Don't ship them!

I purchased 3 of these tote since they were advertised as "Ups and FedEx shippable". Not so! On the shipping to a hunt, 2 of the 3 were damaged beyond repair, with broken molding and corners punched out. On the return trip the remaining tote suffered a tear across the top that rendered it useless. All 3 were damaged beyond repair and had to be replaced. They would be great for general storage purposes, just don't ship them.
Pros: Easy assemby, Secure locking mechanism.
Cons: Not appropriate for shipping commercially!
