This rifle case is engineered to take just about anything you can throw at it. The quality and function of this case is built in from the ground up and not after the fact. When the lid closes it seals up tight. Every shooter knows that Pelican set the standard for this product line. It is this writers opinion that Plano has made considerable strides in this space, so much in fact that Pelican should be concerned. I own both Pelican and Plano rifle cases.
