Good quality rifle case, no problems fitting my FAL with an optic mounted.

Plastic is a little too flexible, making it easy for the "lips" that align the latches to move out of place when the case is loaded, but for the 30 dollars I paid it is not worth dropping a star over.

Fits savage 308 with scope , it just makes it but only bought for one rifle so that’s fine . Once closed it holds rifle nice and tight . Case seems well built , I do wish they would glue or Velcro foam in when rifle isn’t in and you open foam just falls out , but other than that it’s great

I use many of theses cases each year for shipping custom rifles to customers through the mail. They work great and the customers have a case to keep the rifles in when traveling to the range or hunting.

This case is a good value. I have used it to ship rfles to out-of-state gunsmiths for custom work. I am on my second Plano case now, for that purpose. I typically enclose it in a box made for shipping golf clubs. A solid "4" rating.

As usual this Plano Molded case is a great buy for the price. One of the nice things about these cases is that as a bonus, for most of them, they come in their own box, which even makes them perfect for shipping you firearm to a gunsmith or upcoming event in the case, with the case further protected inside the box. Make sure though that you check the dimensions of your firearm with the scope mounted if a rifle with a scope and any other items you might want to get in the case as the case dimensions shown are for the exterior and not the interior. I have found that the double rifle cases work fine for two shotguns with extra chokes etc., but not for full size rifles with large scopes. I actually use this case for a single Remington 1100 with the barrel separated from the action. The case holds the barrel in a barrel sleeve, the action / forend in another sleeve, all the chokes, the allen wrench for my trigger shoe, one for the butt stock, a folded silicon cloth as well as a small notebook where I keep track of rounds fired.

Great case. They come in their own boxes which makes shipping guns for our business easier.

Too short to fit my winchester shotgun by two-three inches, not usable !!

Case arrived very quickly, and is an excellent buy. Use it for transporting two different rifles (not at the same time) and it protects great. No more worries about banging the scopes while traveling. If you're looking for a budget case, you won't go wrong with this one.

Cons: Might not want to use for commercial flights

Case feel a little flimsy but seem to hold up traveling to the range and back fine. If you like to put little extras in your case this does not have much extra room. If you are looking for a case to bring on a plane this is not the one. It is a nice domestic case.
Pros: Holds 50mm Scoped rifle no problem
Cons: No much room inside the case for much else then scoped rifle with sling
