Convenient compact
I bought this product based on a recommendation from a fellow tactical operator. It is a great small reliable light that is rugged enough to take a beating. I primarily use this light for for off duty purposes to go with my off duty gun. If you carry you should carry a light as well. This is a great option. It has a lot of light in a small package. While its not the smallest it makes for a great intermediate between a pen light and a duty flashlight. I have seen them mounted on some operators M4's and they like the versatility and ruggedness.
Junk!!! Do not buy this light
I purchased 1 direct from the dealer at an expo. The light worked great until I mounted it to my AR15 with the included mount. After about 20 rounds, the light stopped working. I contacted Powertac, they had me send in the defective unit and sent me a replacement; this cost about $30 in shipping. The replacement was DOA! I extended the spring to make sure it had enough tension, but it did not help. The light would only work if shaken, but a small bump would stop it from working again. Next time, I’ll spend the extra money for a better brand.

NEVER RECEIVED THE PACKAGE I PAID FOR
I INITIALLY ORDERED (2) OF THE E9 FLASHLIGHTS FROM OPTICS PLANET! THE ORDER WAS PUT IN ON 05/11/2017 and ON 05/12/2017 THE ORDER WAS SHIPPED FED EX/ SMART POST. ON OR ABOUT 05/15/2017, I CHECKED THE TRACKING STATUS AND FED EX SAID THAT THE SHIPPING DATE WOULD BE
05/18/2017. HAD TO GO AWAY FOR A WEEK, AND WAS HOPING TO SEE MY PACKAGE WAITING AT THE RECEPTION OFFICE (RENTAL OFFICE). COME TO FIND OUT THAT ALL SHIPMENT ACTIVITY WAS PUT ON A HAULT AS OF 05/16/2017. I CALLED FED EX AND ALL I GOT WAS A RUN AROUND.....FOR MY EFFORTS.
FORTUNATE THAT OPTICS PLANET HAD ONE MORE IN STOCK, AND THEY WILL CREDIT MY ACCOUNT FOR THE OTHER ONE.
I "STILL" RECOMMEND THIS FLASHLIGHT, BECAUSE I HAVE OWNED THEM IN THE PAST.....UNFORTUNATELY THEY WERE STOLEN. AND THIS IS NOT
OPTICS PLANETS FAULT. THEY DID THEIR JOB, AND FED EX DROPPED THE BALL. FED EX LOST THE PACKAGE AND THEY WONT ADMIT IT.
I AM WRITTING THIS BECAUSE I WANT OTHERS TO KNOW.....SO FED EX WILL GET THEIR ACT RIGHT!!! IF THEY SCREW UP.....JUST ADMIT IT AND STOP TRYING TO PASS THE BUCK. IF IT WASNT FOR BUSINESS LIKE OPTICS PLANET, AND MANY MANY OTHERS......THEY WOULDNT BE AS SUCCESSFUL AS THEY ARE!!!
