Hypertap Ti 5.56
Got this for 5.56/.223 H&K AR (16.5 inch barrel). To say replacing the standard Birdcage with this was a minor upgrade, would be FALSE. I thought having a 16.5 in barrel, would be more than sufficient for the product’s recommended minimum barrel length…SO WRONG! Every shot fired, literally feels like a M80 goin off 2.5 feet from your face. At the very least, the flash hider will be going back on. (As far as the 80% felt recoil reduction, I would disagree with also).

Great purchase recommended
The price was the best from Optics Planet. My first purchase from Optics Plant. It is on Howa Superlight which I’m having somewhat of grouping issue. Radial muzzle brake that came with the rifle wasn’t helping much. First shot with Precision Armament brake I had my target staying in sight: drastically(?) less muzzle jump. Now at 0.75” grouping. Harmonics must have changed a bit I had to adjust elevation/windage but it was expected. NY resident so no suppressor allowed.

- No muzzle jump, no recoil
Cons:
- Louder
Best Used for:
- Improvement to stay on target. Grouping improved.
