Once installed, it's a muzzle brake and it does the job well. Installation is relatively simple, it just took some creative use of a table vise+rod, screwdriver, and torque wrench.
Note that there is a small notch in the bottom 'chamber' for a special tool or flathead screwdriver (PRI mentions it on their website, either should work) that should probably be used for installation. As long as you're not looking for a scratchless finish, I'd say this is for you.
