This riser appears to be made well. It was purchased to raise the level of an Iray thermal scope with a quick attach mount. Unfortunately, Iray made their mount too thick in the clamping area so it would not work with this half-inch riser. The reason being is the mount does not have enough space between the screws on one side, and the clamp on the other side, to the Picatinny section on top. I wanted a half inch riser, but I was forced to purchase a different brand that provides a 5/8 inch riser to get the space for clamping. much needed part

Currently building a precision AR and this was much needed for a more comfortable prone position behind the weapon. It allowed for better eye box approach with out buying a completely new scope mount

flat top riser

Ordered this for a scope as scope was hitting rail installed this piece and scope was way off in windage would not even hit paper at 25 yards the part I received must be defective as I ordered different risers and issue resolved do not recommend this particular item will send back
