Broke on second use
The tool is two pieces made of aluminum held together with a roll pin, and on the second use the roll pin snapped ito three pieces one of which jammed the upper receiver on the tool. Was finally able to dig the broken roll pin out and remove the receiver. Tool is worthless in my opinion.

Broke with first use
The roll pin sheared off when I applied just 40 ft lbs. of torque to my barrel nut. The roll pin was protruding through the ejection port and I couldn't remove the upper receiver from the rod. I had to use needle nose pliers to remove the broken roll pin so I could slide my upper receiver off of the rod. You're better off purchasing an upper receiver vise block.
