3 to9x PA optic

I bought this optic as a replacement scope for my dad's old jc Higgins 22. He was surprised to see that it would fit on that old gat. The old scope was a fixed 3 power. This one goes 3 to 9. He said he'll be shooting ticks off a bears back here soon. PRIMARY ARMS WINS 100% OF THE TIME!

Great for the money!

Inexpensive but clear. Fast focus is great for astigmatism. Adjustments are correct. Mounted mine on Ruger Ranch in 7.62x39 and no problems with that caliber. Held zero. Magnification knob is smooth. Fired about 50 rounds so far. Used the Vortex tactical rings and they worked great together.
Great for plinking. Haven’t checked it out for low light hunting. It’s not illuminated. Second Primary Arms scope. In my opinion, a good value for the money invested. Shipping was good. On time and undamaged.

  • No illuminated reticle
  • No bullet drop compensation
Best Used for:
  • Target Hunting

Pleasantly surprised

Upon unboxing this 3x9x44 30mm tube scope felt like a quality built optic. Finger adjustable turrets have a nice solid click. Glass is clear and crisp. Duplex reticle is sharp edge to edge. I've read good things about Primary arms glass and I'm happy to say it seems to be true. At this price I'll probably pickup another for my 223 Wylde build.

  • Clear crisp glass edge to edge
Cons:
  • 1 year warranty
Best Used for:
  • Magnum rimfire, 223, 5.56. I'm sure this scope could take larger calibers but this is what I will be using them for. Only time will tell.
