Primary Arms red dot
Sight wouldn't adjust elevation at all, sight would turn on and off just racking the slide. Looked like it had been opened previously to my delivery. Guessing it was a return already.
solid red dot
Looks awesome on my 43x and holds zero very well. Turret adjustments are a pain in the butt since it uses a particularly small Allen wrench. Only issue I've had with it is the seemingly random deactivation and lack of shake awake capability.

Cons:
- No shake awake
- turret adjustment screws
Best Used for:
- anything you need a low profile, simple pistol dot for a reasonable price

DOT was DOA
Red dot was faulty upon arrival. Took out of box and removed protective back plate, turned on per instructions and dot was visible in window. Once mounted to the pistol slide the dot was gone and could not turn back on. Removed from slide and dot was visible again. Any downward pressure on dot and it would flicker and disappear even without the mounting screws installed. I tried a new battery with the same results.
