The reticle is excellent. Illumination is great if you like that. The paint job is okay, but not nearly as durable as hard coat anodize. The turrets have nice positive clicks and reliable tracking, not overly stiff or mushy - not a huge plus as this optic is designed for use with the BDC reticle, not turret adjustments for long range.
The eye relief is short on prism scopes by nature, so be prepared to be really close to the eye piece.
