It's great for what it is. It's a red dot that happens to magnify. I like it and the cross hairs helps line up quickly. The glass is good and clear and the reticle is straight. The 1x setting is actually a little less than 1x. It appears smaller in the glass than in real life. Like it's zoomed out a little further than the 1x. I don't mind at all though.
