Most Helpful Positive Review Primary Arms and flip folder
Good glass, clear and the unit was solid. Compared to my Eotech magnifier it was rather comparable, minus 400 dollar price tag. I used this and the mount on my LR-308 which I run an Eotech XPS3 works great and the mount is also solid.
Most Helpful Negative Review Optics Planet is promoting in poor package
Optics planet suggests that I purchase this in a package which included: Bushnell TRS-25, Primary Arms 3X Magnifier Gen III, and the Primary Arms flip to side mount. This was a very poor suggestion. These parts do not match up concentrically: the view is skewed. Each item seems fine (individually...

Love this Magnifier

by Brandon Ransby, Verified Owner from GA, United States Written on May 20, 2026
Great backup to the Primary Arms Slx 1x. Took a minute to zero to my slx but once it married looks great and sharp. When paired with Unity FAST FTC mount you can’t go wrong.
Pros:
  • Clear
  • sharp picture
Cons:
  • Diopter adjustment
  • take a minute to zero
Best Used for:
  • 1x red dot sights
  • 1X prism

Good for the money

by Kelbo, Verified Owner from CO, United States Written on April 21, 2026
For the money it is hard to beat. Pair it with a primary arms 1x microprism and unity tactical mounts, and you’ve got a slick little outfit. This was actually my second purchase of this product for a friend. He liked mine so much he asked me to get him one too.

Super light and clear

by Florida Boy, Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on February 25, 2026
Clear optics and super light. I was able to find a reasonably priced flip-to-side mount that made this an affordable setup. Works great with the Primary Arms prism optics and regular prism sights as well.

With a built-in ranging reticle and clear glass, you can't beat this option. Easy to use and affordable too.

Does The Job

by Keypunch, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on May 7, 2025
Excellent little 3x magnifier. Love the Pegasus version with the ranging hash marks. Has a smaller eye box than I'd like, but it's easy to adjust shooting position with a proper turkey neck cheek weld.
Pros:
  • Small & light
  • ranging features in reticle
Cons:
  • eyebox could be bigger

Great price on a grat magnifier

by Dredd11, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on April 20, 2025
Couldn’t be happier with my purchase. Quality is great and I plan to use with the flip-to-side mount in front of a glx 1x micro prism optic

Great for the price.

by Big Al, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on April 2, 2025
Solid magnifier and flip to side base. Magnifier range finder markings are clear and smooth. The flip to side base is solid. As sturdy as my eotech g45.
The magnifier sits behind Holosun Elite 65 MOA Circle 1/3 co- witness used the tallest shim to align the height.
The combination setup is perfect at 100yds really clear.
So good bought a second set.

Nice 3x maginifier

by Codog, Verified Owner from LA, United States Written on October 1, 2024
This thing is nice, pairs well with primary arms SLX 1x micro prism. Cause the eye relief on the micro prism is similar a red dot, almost unlimited on how far you can be…

Did not work for me

by Alex, from CA, United States Written on December 30, 2023
I purchased this magnifier to pair as a flip to the side option with a primary arms micro prism slx 1x. I have astigmatism and based on reviews I thought that the combination would work better than a red dot combo I used previously. The scope was amazing unfortunately, I was not able to get the magnifier to focus on the reticle of the scope at all following the manufacturer instructions and watching their videos on YouTube as well as others. I thought it was my astigmatism but then my sons couldn’t get it to either and they have 20/20 vision. Probably just a one off defective unit. I ended up returning it. Optics planet was great with their customer service and that was good. I have two other primary arms scopes and I wanted to love it but it didn’t work for me. I think the concept of 1x scope especially the amazing primary arms reticule and magnifier combo is good depending on the planned application but eye sight dependent.

Seems like a good 3x magnifier

by Dale, Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on December 15, 2023
This primary arms 3x micro magnifier seems like it will work. Strange thing is, I had to mount it in front of the primary arms 1x micro prism scope. When it was mounted behind the scope I could not see anything, all blurry. Moved it forward and it works as it should. I'm wondering if anyone else has encountered this strange phenomena. Overall, I'm going to use it and see what I see.
Pros:
  • works

  • Had to mount it in front of the optic.
