Other that being too critical of eye position at high magnification this scope shouldn't disappoint. Mine is mounted on a 20" bolt action in .556, and is clear enough to use as a spotting scope at 100 yards. Great reticle for precision work on small targets. You can even buy nylon spacers to make a zero stop for elevation. There's a good video on youtube explaining how this can be done.
