MaximalScout's Review of Primary Arms SLx 5x36mm Gen III Prism Scope
The ACSS reticle is fast and easy to use. It sights in quickly and, on my RFB at least, holds zero. It is rugged and well illuminated. The glass is very clear. The attachment is sturdy and the eye relief is acceptable, though maybe a little short for a bullpup rifle with shortened or crowded rail. My only complaints are minor, but enough to cost it a star on my review. Firstly the illumination knob is installed backward. When you turn the knob to the indication that shows red, the reticle lights up green and vice versa. Secondly, only the circular portion of the reticle is illuminated. The auto range ladder on the right and the bullet drop calculators below the main reticle are not illuminated when the illumination knob is turned on. Lastly, the corrections are half inch MOA. I would have preferred that an optic with 4x magnification and ranging to 800 to have more precise and fine-tuned adjustment increments like one third inch or one quarter inch MOA. All in all though, I am happy with this optic and would recommend it for someone looking for a fast and easy optic with some expedient tactical uses.

- rugged
- illuminated
Cons:
- not full illumination
- half inch MOA adjustmnts
