Remarkably clear for price point. Reticle is not so cluttered as others I've seen. Hopefully will get some good weather here soon to try it out.

Good Scope

Received the scope very quickly and opened it up. Inspected it and ensured it functioned properly. Got it mounted in a one piece mount, zeroed, and shot about 250 rounds of 308. Scope has held zero so far and I really like the reticle. Illumination settings are bright and crisp, parallax adjustment is stiff and not easily bumped out of focus. The resettable zero is a nice feature, just wish it had a zero stop in it. Also came with scope caps which is better than the rubber cover in my opinion. Overall, great optic for the price and will continue to purchase primary arms optics!

Primary Arms SLX 4X16X44

A great value for a scope in this price range. Clear glass & reticle. Solid build with an exellent finish. And a 1st focal plain reticle!! Reason for only 4 stars is its heavy & the eyebox offset at higher magnifications.

Not bad pretty good

This is a really good scope highly recommend how ever I wish it was stated that this dose not have locking turrets I felt like that should have been mentioned but it's not OP fault because on the Primary arms site they don't mention it ether but it's good for what I needed

Great clarity

This is a great scope. The only thing I might want is turret lock but since I use it for hunting <300 yards, I just use the BDC.

Fairly solid

Coming from a PA Slx 4-14x44 to this 4-16x44 was an upgrade. The glass on this newer model is a noticeably better than the previous one I had. The ARC-2 MOA reticle is thinner on this generation making it much nicer to use at high magnification. Great reticle to use with .22lr. Very functional scope, right at home on my Savage MKII FV-SR that I use for long range plinking.

Turrets are not very audible and the parallax is stiff. Otherwise it would be a 5 star rating. For the amount of features and excellent reticle I think it is an great scope.

parallax knob super stiff!!!

Glass is good but parallax knob is super stiff! almost ridiculously stiff! Thinking of calling Primary arms and seeing if this is normal or not I Almost sent it back.. hope other people’s luck is better than mine!
