I am a big fan of PWS so when I received their .308 buffer I was excited. I had purchased their EBT buffer tube for a .308 build and the quality, fit and finish were amazing. So when my buffer arrived I was excited.... until I installed the buffer. The fit was horrible. The buffer face is small and is a sloppy fit. It is so loose that it rattles around and worse.... it falls out as the diameter is too small for the detent pin to hold it in. I am horribly disappointed since I paid so much. How could a buffer made by the same company as the buffer tube be so far off on the fit that the d@mnn buffer just falls out of their tube with the detent pin installed correctly? Ridiculous. Only reason it got 2 stars instead of 1 is the finish is good and machined fairly well.
