Disappointed
I found these calls difficult to use. I'm new to elk calling, but have used the Primos turkey calls extensively. It seemed like the only sounds I could get was a dying kitten sound. I found the diaphragms too raspy to really get a clean cow sound. For bugling bull sounds they will be ok. In frustration, I bought the Mellow Yellow Mama from Rocky Mountain, and was immediately impressed by how quickly and easily I was able to make sounds like I hear in tutorial videos.
Pros:
- Cheaper than the rest
Cons:
- Difficult to get the right sounds.
