Most Helpful Positive Review So far so good
I use these for coyote hunting. They are a little bulkier than my gen 2 but so far so. Good. I like the new handle even with it being bulkier. Sturdy build to it. The locking legs is deffinently a plus.

Excellent product

by Dawkahab, from ID, United States Written on February 10, 2021
A little pricey, and subject to damage, I have used these sticks all the way from my back yard in Idaho to Africa. Keep them clean, a small amount of grit will damage them and make them difficult to adjust
Pros:
  • Mostly
Cons:
  • easily damaged/dented
Would recommend: Yes

Awesome sticks

by Skippy, from NC, United States Written on January 2, 2019
I bought each of my boys one of these sticks and they love them. They have used them every time we’ve went hunting or shooting since they opened them. They’ve used them on the ground and in ladder stands to help stabilize their shots.
They are easy to handle and light weight to pack.
I just wish I had ordered me one.

Good steady tripod.

by Bama deer hunter, Verified Owner from AL, United States Written on December 1, 2018
I like it overall, multiple ways to adjust with just the trigger. It is steady when the little feelers get a bite. It's helped me make some of the longer shots with confidence. Makes a ground blind hunt alot nicer to have a steady base
Pros:
  • Stable, quick deploy, very fast target aquisitions
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Ground blind,

Gen 3 Primos trigger sticks Tripod 18-38(ish)”

by ABC1000, from ID, United States Written on February 24, 2018
These things are very solid. I think they weigh more than my gen 2 but are very solid. I have a tripod for my spotting scope so didn’t have a need for the scope attachment t but it will come in handy during elk season as I’ll pack the sticks in case my 9-13” Harris bipod isn’t tall enough for a shot. These things are very sturdy and the quickest triood (bipod/monopod) to setup. If you’re looking for something very lightweight I’m not sure you’ll like these... however, they are very reliable and will provide the best shot you can get from a triood in my opinion.
Pros:
  • Sturdy, easily adjustable, solid, reliable
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Hunting, medium range shooting
Would recommend: Yes

Good piece of gear so far.

by Steve, Verified Owner from UT, United States Written on August 31, 2017
I bought this for an upcoming elk hunt here in Utah on the recommendation of a friend. I already have a tripod from The Outdoorsman, which is a very high quality product, but is a bit slow to set up since you have to manually extend and lock each leg. My Outdoorsman Tripod is also more compact and easier to carry. This Trigger Stick is definitely quicker, but it is bigger, heavier, requires more space (both on my pack and on the ground), and does not have the same quality feel (although it is $$$ less expensive). I've had it to the range practicing with it several times. I find it works best for me when I am seated and have my pack in my lap to support the butt of the rifle. I get good hits with it out to 200 yards. I also like the fact they include an optics mount at no additional charge.
Pros:
  • Simple to use
  • Quick to deploy
  • Relatively inexpensive compared to other options
  • Optics Mount Included
Cons:
  • heavy and bulky
  • Build quality could be better
  • Has a large footprint on the ground
  • Long even when collapsed
Best Used for:
  • hunting
