great purchase
We hunt in alot of open areas with long range shots and this product is great for use during those hunts. Works great. Would recommend it to a friend. Easy to use. Nice design. The trigger makes adjusting and adapting smooth and quiet.

This trigger stick tall bipod-gen-3 works well. BUT, from a ground hot seat you will need to spread the legs alllll the way, about 56" apart to get the low end 24"! The design should have been 3-piece legs not 2,that start straight at 40".Forty to start, less when the legs start to separate. The top...

Clicks when rotating
I hope this is only the case with the one I received and if so I may be able to recommend it but if not this is something that could really blow a hunt at close range. Whenever you rotate the lower swivel there is a noticeable clicking/grinding sound.
Pros:
- None
Cons:
- noise
Best Used for:
- Stalk hunting and ground blind

Great way to stabilize your shots
I considered a number of different products that I might use to stabilize the shots and finally decided upon the Primos Triggerstick bipod. Since I am 6 foot one I needed something that could extend down far enough that it would allow me to comfortably align my shots according to my height. I find the leg release which is gravity activated by the trigger to be an extremely well thought out and functional way to extend the legs with a minimum of effort. They automatically adjust to the terrain which means that one leg might end up being longer than the other if it’s on the downhill side of an incline. The trigger stick is light enough to use as a walking aid which is something I do since I have one bad leg. Since it adjusts to practically any height you can use it standing up, kneeling, or in a sitting position. It’s very well-made and versatile and should last a long time.
Pros:
- Gravity activated, rugged and versatile
Cons:
- pricey but it is worth every penny
Best Used for:
- Stabilizing your shots especially long-distance through scopes
