The amplification works really well so much so that when an aggressive BlueJay was shrieking in the tree 10’ away from my camouflaged position while Duck hunting, I had to waive at it to move it along. I fired numerous rounds that day and my ears weren’t ringing, I highly recommend this hearing protection. I only wish they used AAA vs N batteries.

Arrived just in time for the next shoot. Personally I hate ear plugs and end up shooting without protection, but thought I would give these a try. I was always sceptical about shooting with muffs due to size and concern of knocking on the stock etc.
Loved the fact I could hear everyone around me talking normally, shooters calling targets with ease, but did not hear the loudness of the guns.
After wearing them for a single shoot I am hooked, no going home with ears ringing etc.
Pros:
- Comfortable
- Stops the load bang
- Can hear everyone around me
- Can hear even quiet shooters call
Cons:
- Not a standard AA or AAA battery

I've gone through other electronic muffs. These are much more solid, the sound quality much better and the fit much more comfortable for all day, extended wear. Yes they are expensive - worth it in my opinion.
Pros: sound quality, comfort
Cons: price

Hear a twig snap farther than you ever imagined. These comfortable hearing amplifiers and protectors are a perfect addition to your hunting arsenal. Hear and see the game before being seen. Provides full hearing protection when firing large weapon.
Pros: sounds are amplified clearly; no static or hum; comfortable;
Cons: can be overwelming when several armadillos are charging you in the night
