The ear pieces have very comfortable padding; and, there is no "clipping" so that you can easily hear and understand the commands of a range officer or other conversation
going on around you while evaluating target hits. Another nice feature is that you can have an external auxiliary device plugged in if you're just involved
in self-evaluation and shooting. Highly recommended.
