I originally received this product back in beginning of October in an open and missing parts package. I called customer service and they said they would expedite shipping free of charge and for my inconvenience. I received the replacement in a box totally different from original packaging and was delivered November 20, 2022. Thank you Optic Planet for the experience with going above and beyond for your customers.

These are a a really good set of hearing protection. No wires to snag, has circuit boards in each ear and can adjust for each ear (I can hear fine out of my left, not so good out of the right.) They have a solid NRR of 26 and make a great set for all around shooting. The ear seals are a leather like material and feel good against the skin versus some of the vinyl ones I have experienced in the past. I think the sound clarity is really good too, in fact, the best I have heard. My wife and I both have a pair. And we have no problem recommending them. The only problem I had was that the headband broke on my wife's pair, but we called the company and they explained they had a bad batch, they fixed it, and sent a new headband- no problem or questions asked.

These are a great set of muffs. The NRR is 26, and the cups are not too big. The soft leathery feel of the ear seals is comfortable too. My headband broke, and I called them and they apologized and they replaced it no questions asked at no charge. The clarity of sounds is excellent too. I also like it has no exterior wires to get snagged.I would have no problem recommending these muffs to someone else.

I can wear these all day long and my head doesn't ache like other muffs I've owned where the headband crunches my head. The sound quality is also amazing and it quiets the wind more than I thought they would. No more cutting in and out like my old muffs used to. Great muffs and I'd recommend to anyone.

I used these ear muffs before-excellent for hunting and at the range.
Used them recently on my trip to Europe on a driven wild boar hunt. I waited at the designated location facing the direction from which the drive was coming. I heard steps behind me and turn. 170 yards out, the whole herd of wild pigs was moving behind us. No way we would have heard it without ear muffs ... and on the windy day ... Excellent noise cancelation as well. Super product.

Great product…lives up to its reputation. Extremely comfortable and performs as expected. Well worth the investment if you're an active shooter. The ear pieces have very comfortable padding; and, there is no "clipping" so that you can easily hear and understand the commands of a range officer or other conversation
going on around you while evaluating target hits. Another nice feature is that you can have an external auxiliary device plugged in if you're just involved
in self-evaluation and shooting. Highly recommended.

I was very excited to get out in the woods, or to the range.with these new Predator Gold Ear Muffs. I know hearing protection is very important, and combined with the hearing enhancement qualities of these NNR26 rated muffs, I heard things in a whole new prospective. These muffs have an 8-Bit Micro- Processor,that does a complete systems diagnostic test instantly ,when you turn the switch on. This product reacts/recovers in less than 1.5 milliseconds. I was scouting for spring Turkeys last week , out on the High Desert , and when I sat down, called, and listened with these muffs on . I could hear the smallest of noises from small birds, and the wind, but never got any response from a Turkey. I can not wait to hear some big game, or other varmint noises. Then I went to the local place to shoot ,called the Pit to shoot my 12 Gauge Tactical shotgun ,with some 3 inch slugs ,and buckshot. I also brought my Ruger 338 Win Mag Rifle , this thing is LOUD! These muffs feel very comfortable, to wear for longer periods of time, in the field or at the range. The noise reduction of 26 decibels, provided by these muffs ,lets me shoot a bunch of rounds, without worrying about damage to my hearing senses, yet I can still laugh and joke with my pals, at the Pit ,or a range master ,at the sporting clay 5 stan...

These are a complete waste of almost $300. I cannot hear steel when using these for shooting. They are VERY uncomfortable and heavy. Worst - both ear muffs broke from the head set during the first 6 weeks after I bought them just by pulling them in a normal fashion from the band to adjust them. Three calls to Pro Ears and three weeks later I received a replacement head band. At this price I expect alot better quality and customer service.

Cons: Poor quality, heavy, not useful for shooting

These hearing protectors met my expectations. The sound quality was excellent. The ability to quickly locate direction of flushings chukars was better than any of 3 pairs of in the ear hearing aids I have used. I wore them for 4 days without discomfort.
The fit is very snug for us guys who wear a extra large hat. I did have a failure of the headband in weather of about 25 degrees, although Pro Ears was very quick to replace the parts at no charge (great service). I would buty them again. Nicole at Optical Planet was very helpful in my selection process.
Pros: Excellent sound quailty.
Cons: the only the only negative was the headband

I wanted a pair of lighter weight earmuffs for indoor practice range. these work but not a sound protective as my Peltors
Pros: comfort, quality
Cons: does not block gunshots as effectively as heavier earmuffs
