Much better
This is a much better option than the old skeleton style that was the only option for a long time. I only wish it had a folding stock. You will need to do a little fitting on your stock for a nice custom fit.
Perfect fit! Chinese, Norinco SKS
The rifle Chamber and barrel mechanism fit perfectly into stock channel. The trigger mechan snapped in, no problem, Very secure and tight. The assembled rifle stock has no wobble. I did have a little difficulty removing factory rear pin from the gas tube guard mechanism. The Archangel Gas Tube heat Guard went in with no problem, with supplied new pin. The factory Bayonet will not fit without a little Dremel work, but the factory cleaning rod does fit. If you want to fit the spike bayonet, you will have to sacrifice the forward QD attachment point.

Love my new stock!
I have a Yugo SKS and this stock was a great upgrade from the standard wood stock. The main body fit with no issues, with 1 exception. The stock fits so completely against the dust cover, that there is not enough room to remove it for cleaning without pulling the trigger assembly and lifting the whole gun from the stock. The gas tube portion of the stock needed some adjustments like many of the other comments, but a dremel and sandpaper did the job fine. Would highly reccomend.

SKS archangel stock
Wanted to replace a broken stock on the sks my dad got in veitnam in 1969. Found the archangel on line liked the looks. Had to trim the gas tube cover a little to fit but not much. Really like the look and feel of the gun now.

Seems to be a well made product. Good, tight fit. Good color. Has a very good feel to it. Had to do a little filing on gas tube cover but,no big deal.

Sks pistol grip
Add a nice modern look to an old classic ez to install and gives you extra pins and spring and love the extendable butt stick absolutely love this new look cant wait to get it out and actually shoot it

A very nice upgrade
This stock kit was a much needed upgrade to my old SKS. My rifles original stock was very worn and had a few chunks missing from pretty heavy use over the years. I wanted to modernize it and add a pistol grip. Design and function for drop in SKS stocks has come a very long way and I am quite pleased with this choice. I will admit the upper hand guard was a little challenging to get it to seat properly, but a little file work and it is perfect. My old beat up rifle now looks modern, and the pistol grip gives me more stability white shooting.

Great look - great fit
I have wanted this stick for years - and then came across it on sale for $100 and free shipping…that was too good too pass up…install was very easy and straight forward. With exception of the handguard. The handguard was about an 1/8” too tall from scalloped side to the gas tube pin. I ultimately had to shave the raised scalloped edges off - to clear the gas tub retaining lever - turned out great, looks great and runs great…love the feel of the pistol grip…and love the promag 35 round mag I bought for the new stock…next up, new rail and optic.

Great product. Fit my 1955 SKS like a glove. Gas tube cover can be difficult. Took extra patience, but in the end it was worth it.

A little bit of modification.
Hello, I have a yugo model.
It fits real good, the only modifications i had to make was the upper hand guard, it would not allow the gas tube to go completely down.
but with some 240 grit sandpaper and a 2x4 it sanded down evenly and fit just fine. the bayonett was about 2 inches to long, so i had to remove it, other than that, no complaints, looks just like the pic.
