I thought this might be cheesy, but it's tough and well built. The cheek riser is solid with more than ample height. Butt stock is thick rubber. The bottom rail is nylon like the stock, but clamping down on it with metal didn't seem to leave an impression. It's a tight fit, but you wouldn't want it otherwise. So far I like it better than the AR-style competition that's twice the cost. They throw in extras like buffer, swivel studs, extended mag release. It weighs 46 oz. Highly recommended.
