Promag beretta 21a bobcat magazine - ProMag Beretta 21A Bobcat 7 Round Pistol Magazine

After having read the previous negative reviews of these magazines but needing some spare magazines I thought I would roll the dice and find out for myself if they would work in my Bobcat. I found as stated in the previous reviews they would not fully seat in my magazine well. Being somewhat of a firearms I closely examine these magazines and came up with a process to make them work perfectly. First thing I did was reverse the follower retention screw putting the head on the right side of the follower as is the factory magazine. I then applied a thin film of lubri plate Greece from the M1 Garand on the exterior surface of the mag bodies. Finally I seated the magazine with the sharp rap of the heel of my hand to seat fully. Pressing the magazine release button I then had to extract the magazines with my fingertips. After about four or five passes the magazines fit perfectly and dropped freely from the magwell. It would appear that the outside dimensions of these mags are a bit on the generous size and required a little bit of work to fit properly. I'm glad I gave these a try I spent a little effort to work with them as they now work perfectly
