I bought this when I bought my 3rd pistol ... a 9mm 1911. My first two pistols were both double stack 9mm striker pistols. They each came with a basic speed loader (much like this). And, with my mildly arthritic hands, I needed a speed loader to load more than 2-3 rounds. So, when I bought the 1911, and it did not come with a speed loader, I thought I would need one. Surprise, surprise ... it is much easier to load a single-stack mag than it is to load a double stack mag. So, I don't need this ... and, you might not need it either. Perfect fit for P226 mags
This fits Sig P226 9mm magazines perfectly. The injection-molded polymer loader is nice and sturdy, makes loading quite fast, and you can't argue against that price! Definitely recommend to anyone with a Sig P226/9mm. This should likely work with the barrel conversions, too, like the 40 S&W or 357 SIG on the P226. I'm not sure about other magazines but the inner length is close to the length of a 9mm round and is a little wider to allow for the P226's offset stack/zig zag mags.

Better than plastic loaders
Works great on single stack mags. Does not fit over Glock mags. Don’t have to worry about breaking or wearing this loader out. The tab on this loader makes it so much easier to use than other plastic loaders I used.

LDR 01 magazine loader.
I bought the LDR 01 loader from Grab-A-Gun for my Luger SR9E and the loader will not slide down on the magazine to let the next round to be installed, it will not work at all. What do I do now?
The LDR 01 Loader will not fit over the original Luger magazine far enough for the next round to be installed, it lacks about 1/2 in. from going down enough. it can not be used at all on these magazines.

Good but won’t fit HK P30 mag
It fit my other double stack 9mm and 40 caliber magazines. But it would not fit the HK P30 magazine. The magazine is too wide. I was able to use a vice, hammer, other tools, etc to reshape it to get it to fit.
