If our government didn’t have a stock pile of 1911 parts and ammo this magazine and M39 S&W would have been the weapon of choice for the armed services of the USA. Born in 1955 this double action based upon the the P38 walthers is definitely a collectors choice and a fine handgun

Bought from Cheaper than Dirt
Spring is almost too strong to load the magazine, but most importantly the gun won’t accept the magazine. Will be sending back to seller.

Precision form, fit, and function
I bought 3 magazines for my 439, these were an exact replacement for my old magazines circa 1972.
There were no stoppages, and no issues. If you need additional magazines, these are exactly what you need.

Trash dont waste your money
Finally had a chance to get to the range and use this mag. What a disappointment, will not stay in the gun keeps dropping out with each shot, even just knocking the side of the grip with knuckles it pops out. My original works perfectly this one is unusable garbage.

S&W 439 mags
Was a little hesitant on trying to find replacement mags for this gun as I read of problems others have had doing so. No problems here. The worked perfectly! Having no issues what so ever. Springs were a little stiff at first, but no problems now after a little use.

Model 39 magazine
The base plate is quite a bit longer than the stock one it is OK for me but if you have large hands you might find it uncomfortable but to be able to keep my 2 factory mags in perfect condition the longer base plate is easy to live with

SMITH 7 WESSON MAGAZINES
THERE FINE. BUT STILL WAITING ON BACK ORDER STUFF. I THOUGHT ONCE I'D RECEIVED COMFIRMATION NUMBER. MY ORDER WAS SOON TO FOLLOW. BUT THERE OUT OF STOCK AND DON"T KNOW WHEN ORDER WILL BE IN. DON'T NOW WHAT ELSE TO SAY. SOMEHOW SOMEONE SENT THEM A NASTY LETTER ABOUT COMPANY, WHICH I never did and was unsubscribed from their list of being able to make purchases. but through several e mail messages i was okay to subscribe from them again.

Smith & Wesson 39 / 2 magazine
Face perfectly gray color good for reloading. Having fun while using it. I have no complaints. It was shipped in a timely matter. This product has no cons. I cannot complain. I recommend this product to anyone.

Close but not exactly like original
I bought 3 of these magazines because WHEN I bought my S&W 39 it only came with one magazine. They fit and function well. My only complaint is the they base plate of the magazines are longer than the original. These are about a 1/4 inch longer on the front.This causes the magazines to extend a little bit out in front. Its just not esthetically pleasing to the eye.
