Good design, poor qc/tolerances - ProMag Archangel Quick Break-Down Stock for Standard Ruger 10/22 Rifles

Out of the box, the folding action is very tight. I attribute it to needing break in. I put in some grease and practiced the folding action while watching TV. Took some time but it did loosen it up. When the time came that I put in the 10/22 receiver, it wouldn't fit. there was a quarter inch gap behind the receiver once it is dropped in the stock. took a while and some electric tape to figure out where exactly the receiver and the stock is pushing against. was able to make it work eventually but it is still not seated properly. cheaper stocks worked perfectly than this. Really adds to the negative impression to Promag!
