Rossi Rs22
I bought this stock for my Rossi Rs22. It was a perfect fit. Simple installation. Looks and feels really solid. I am not sure the guys saying it won't fit this rifle and that we are not real people. All I can say is I am no gunsmith it took no filing, grinding, shiming or anything special.

Does not fit the same gun with a different name
Will not fit the Rossi rs22 even though it’s the exact same gun and various other people with the rs22 have been able to do it no problem and if you try to call them they don’t answer and you can’t even leave them a voicemail.
1000% improvement over OME stock
Stock gives My Mossberg 715t a little more wait to rifle but in a good way. Easy to install very good LOP for me, stock fold out easy and locks up solid. With picatinny rails up front makes nice setup for flash light, bi-pod and laser. Now I can use it as a decent trainer and taking small game

Mossberg 715T retrofit to Plinkster Stock
The 715T is the same basic internals as a 702 Plinkster. This Promag Stock is a great fit and a better Stock than the cheap Plastic ATI Clamshell the 715T comes in.
For those looking to upgrade to this stock let me share some advice. You will need a longer front screw for the front mount, It is a metric m5 x.80 and needs to be about 1.25 inches long. I used a matching washer and lock washer here as well. You need to remove the folding stock from the grip by removing the bolt in the handgrip.
With the folding stock removed the 715T will tightly drop into the open slot. There is an open space just in front of the rear bolt hole in the handgrip between the stock and the receiver itself. You need to insert something as a spacer to fill that space. I used two 1/4 x 20 washers stacked to fill that void. If you don't use a spacer, when you fully tighten the rear bolt it will close the gap and raise the barrel out of the formed grooves. Not only does this look terrible but will cause your aim to be high.
On the inside of the extended lip of the folding stock you may have to file down the middle support ridge of the the extended lip to allow the stock to sit down fully on the top of the rear portion of the receiver. I took down about 1/8 inch following the ridge's original curve.
When ready to secure everything in place, Start the front screw and tighten to snug to seat the barrel in the barrel grooves of the fore end. Next add your rear spacers then slip in the folding stock....

Promag Mossberg international 702 plinkster tactical folding stock
I really like the look on the stock it totally change the look on my Rossi, I guess the only mild complaints the back part didn’t have a complete fit, it’s a little off but nothing causing major problems. I do recommend for an upgrade on the Rossi

In my opinion
PROMAG DONE AN OUTSTANDING JOB ON THE 702 PLINKSTER STOCK!! It fit my Rossi RS-22 like a glove. I Can shoot more accurately and faster than with the standard stock on the RS-22. It was very easy to install if you don't forget to remove the 1/4 inch Allen bolt in the stock. You will need a tall Allen wrench to remove the screw. If you have a 702 Plinkster or the Rossi RS-22, you need this upgrade. It will BRIGHTEN YOUR DAY!! I'm 81 years old and still having fun with my guns REMEMBER, OPTICS PLANET IS THE PLACE TO GO FOR ALL YOUR SPORTING NEEDS FRINDLY SERVICE AND GREAT PRICES! Good people to do business with!! Have a great day and God Bless!! John W.Steed
Pros:
- Great Product and Great Price

Works for a savage 64
Works well no grinding required. The cap on the end of the bolt has to come off but other then that is pretty easy and straight forward.

Mossberg International 702 Plinkster Tactical Folding Stock - Generally Good
I put this on my Rossi RS22. Would've given this 5 stars except there were no instructions and it took a little bit of gearhead ingenuity to figure out how to put it on to the rifle vs. how the original stock was mounted. Also, trying to unfold the stock initially (it was VERY tight when rec'd in folded condition) so I finally had to pry it open for the first time hoping I wouldn't break the tab/hook that secures it folded. I haven't shot using the folding stock yet, but don't anticipate any issue or change in the basic gun performance.
Pros:
- folding is tight and secure
Cons:
- None
