Not Pleased with product
did not include any instructions on install. Read reviews and used one of those and installed.
The front end of stock falls about 1/4 inch below the barrel and looks rather stupid, the piece seems to be bowed
as I noticed in several reviews. Made it look a little better by using black tape around ...

Good cheap folding stock
Very easy to install. Seems sturdy and well built. The addition of rails at the end is a very nice touch. Makes a very cheap .22 look much better. Don’t regret buying this at all and definitely recommend to anyone looking for an affordable “tactical” upgrade to their savage model 64 rifle.
Pros:
- Quality
- Affordable
- EASY INSTALL
- rails
Cons:
- Had to remove dustcap

Not for the Savage 64 "TAKEDOWN"
The Take down is the Savage 64, that has a screw off Barrel - this is not a direct Fit for this model at all. I had to deeply modify it to work. The Barrel Nut, does not fit in the housing.

Pretty decent folding stock
First off, yes, the rifle does fit into this stock without having to cut or dremel it. You have to take the handle off first and then jiggle the rifle in before tightening the handle back on. Didnt seem like that would work, but somehow it does fit. The construction is definitely not high end, but it doesn't cost much either. I have a feeling the "latch" that holds the stock in the folded position wont last long, but we'll see. Its exactly 100g heavier than the OEM stock. I was hoping for the latter. Oh well. Its definitely a keeper at the $60 +/- price point.

Good concept but needs improvement
This is not a plug and play stock. There are some fitment issues but if you're a little bit handy with tools it's pretty easy to make it work. It took me about an hour to get it to fit nice. The pistol grip is nice for what it is and the trigger guard is big enough for gloves. The folding stock has some wiggle when folded out but you can fix that if you shove some soft rubber material in the hole above the pistol grip. Folded up it feels pretty solid. The fore grip feels a little flimsy but for a .22 I'm not worried about it. Other than that it makes the old savage nicer to hold and looks cooler.

Model 64 ProMag
Promag folding stock for Savage model 64 fits like a glove. I did see comments saying you have to use a Dremel to get it to properly seat but I had no issue.

- Looks and fits great
Cons:
- No instructions included in packaging
- Doesn't come with banana clip
