Slide Failed to Lock back
Mag loading was not as easy as factory mag. Finish was not as nice as factory mag. Mag functioned fine after 50 rounds. However, slide failed to lock back when mag is empty at all times. Recommended with reservation.

Greater Grip Control
This gun is an expensive little gun but can be more difficult to grip especially if you have larger hands. These magazines not only increase capacity but also give greater grip control.

Taurus 709 slim mag
I ordered this gun magazine for my father in laws Taurus 709 slim and It came in the mail rather quickly and was as described. Works great. I would order again form Them again as I’m also looking to get a bipod for my rifle.

Rounds dont cycle
The factory mag cycles rounds perfectly, I took them to the range the other day leaving the factory mag at home so I didn’t have to unload the hollow points. I bought 3, each a different size, none of them consistently worked.

Conceal carry
I have been working on my conceal carry and I really needed to have some more clips. As I was surfing the web I found optics planet to have what I was looking for at a very affordable price. Once I ordered the products optics planet ensured that I have my purchase as soon as possible. My purchase fits perfectly and performance is exceptional.

ProMag Could do Better!
I purchased three (3) seven round ProMag magazines. All three magazines have to be forcefully inserted into the magazine well and then pulled to get them to come out. That is for two of the magazines. The third magazine has to be forcefully removed by hitting it from the ejector port using a screwdriver as a punch to drive it out. This is definitely not good in a reload situation. The OEM magazines simply slide into the well and drop out when the magazine release is pushed. Quality control for ProMag seems to be severely lacking. It is surprising since this is an American made product. But in hind sight I should have known better, years ago I purchased two (2) Walther P99 15 round magazines that would only hold 13 rounds. I was hoping the quality standards for ProMag would have improved after all these years, but apparently it has not. I will not recommend any ProMag products to my friends, because I value them too much and want to keep them around. Lesson learned: buy OEM magazines.
Pros:
- inexpensive, available
Cons:
- quality control, reliability

The price is right, they work ok, and try to find OEM magazines
Purchased two (2) each, 7 and 8 round magazines, for my Taurus 709 slim. (I have two (2) slim pistols)
One pistol, and these magazines work flawlessly. Fits, feeds, locks, and slides out without problems. Very happy with these.
The other pistol, will work with the 7 round magazines, but for some reason will not lock slide back when the magazine is empty.
I have looked at the issue, and as far as I can tell, the 8 round, has a little more side to side play, in the magazine well, and will allow the slide lock to slip past the follower. Is this a deal breaker? Absolutely not.! Most competition shooters will deactivate their slide locks anyway, and shooters should have the immediate action items down for misfires, slide not locking back, etc. Tap, rack, re- assess.
Or, if you can count to 8, shoot, then drop mag, and reinsert mag, rack slide back, and get back into the game.
For the price, you can not beat it, try and find a Taurus slim mag.......... I DARE YA! and at what price?
If you need spare magazines, get these.

Taurus 709 magazine I
The magazine is difficult to insert and catch the pin that holds it in place. Once inserted and the catch holds it is almost impossible to release. Had I realized this difficulty upon receiving the magazine I would have returned it. Do not recommend this product to anyone wishing to have a quick change magazine.
