This is what batman would have on his rifle. It completely changed my rifle. I have my Savage pretty decked out including tac-21 and Banish suppressor. This Barrel made my rifle go from completely front heavy to slightly butt heavy with the Suppressor it is a well balanced harmonic tuning fork in .308. As long as I am on my game it stacks rounds thru the same hole @100 yards with no problem. I bought a Standard Shank Stainless Barrel nut and it goes perfect with this barrel. If you have the money and love your Savage but not the weight here is your answer. Paired with lightweight stock you could pack your Bull barreled Rifle around the mountains all day long :)
