I love these pants. My last job, I had 2 pair of them. I just started a new job that issued me three pair of the Lightweight 5.11 pants. I wore 5.11 for years but they always felt tight in the crotch and these new ones shrunk more than the others. I purchased one pair of these black Propper and they did shrink a little but not as much as the 5.11. The Propper are much more roomy and the pockets aren't tight like the 5.11's. I love the rear butt pockets roominess and the inner wallet pocket. I also like the knife pocket and the left leg cell phone is roomy enough for my Samsung Galaxy S9 in a thin case but in something like a Otterbox Defender, it might be a tight fit. I'll take Propper over the overpriced 5.11's any day and I've found Propper to be my #1 choice in my 32 years in Law Enforcement and Security. Oh, did I say something about price? Optics Planet had a great sale price on these, about $20 less than THAT other brand. Fit is right on, true to size. I get these a size bigger in case I want to carry concealed with a IWB holster. Buy these, you won't be upset.
Pros:
- Fit , craftmanship, lightweight, price
Cons:
- They still shrink but less than the competition
Best Used for:
- work and tactical ops. as well every day w

I wear these for colder weather practical pistol competition and most rifle / 3-gun matches... Like the front small pocket for holding a barney magazine. Retrieved brass goes in side pockets. Comfortable and durable. Optics planet has a good selection of sizes and shipped fast.

Nice everyday semi-dress pants with pockets! Lots of pockets. Enough for everything. First off, they're made from a very tough ripstop nylon/cotton treated with teflon. Perfect for being around the baby grandkids! Spill proof. Stitching is good, although, Propper apparently loves leprechauns. So many Irish Pennants! There's even knee pad pockets, of which I've a couple of pairs. They do help in everyday wear when you kneel down. Color doesn't fad. Machine was on warm with a cold rinse, low heat dry for 1/2 hour and they're wrinkle free. Sizing is true also.
Pros:
- Pockets
- stitching
- stain resistant
- construction quality
- ease of maintenance

I have been wearing these pants (in navy blue) at work for a couple of years now; outstanding in all respects! I bought them in khaki for casual wear and they are sharp!
Hard-wearing, with the right number of pockets in a low-profile look that doesn't scream "I'm wearing tactical pants!".

These are by far the best tactical pants I have purchased. The sizes are spot on. They are comfy and roomy without being baggy. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to purchase some new pants.
