Re-Review...Satisfied!

by MattMan, Verified Owner from KY, United States Written on March 15, 2016
I earlier reported these tactical trousers disappointed me because there was no internal kneepad access. I was wrong - it's there on the inside of each knee - opening on the side (The reason I originally said there was none, was because my prior Propper tactical 65/35 (multi-cam) pants purchased (different model #) had the opening at the bottom of the OUTSIDE knee area...secured by hook and loop). I'm well satisfied now. Great product!

Awesome tactical pants

by MattMan, Verified Owner from KY, United States Written on March 8, 2016
Will re-review once I begin to wear these pants (retired and p/t stocker at major big box)...I do lots of work on my knees. Pants are Propper-awesome...a bit stiff which wears out, sturdy, and great stitching. I'm tall and thin (6'4", 190) and purchased the khaki 32x36. The 36 may be a bit too long, but that's not a big deal...as I usually can't find pants to fit my waist and height. Size 35 length would have be good. Gave 4 stars, because there is no 'internal knee pad' opening to place my own pads in. Disappointment. I love Propper and Optics Planet!
Pros:
  • Sturdy, strong, Very comfontable
  • Fits well, good quality
  • looks great!
Cons:
  • no internal knee pad opening as promised
Best Used for:
  • shooting and light factory work

Great pants and a great value

by JTM, from MS, United States Written on December 24, 2015
I already owned 3 pairs of these pants and like them so much that I wanted to have enough to wear all week. They are very rugged, resist stains superbly, yet are very comfortable. I would have given five stars if they were available with the spare mag holder on the right front since I am a lefty.
Pros:
  • comfortable to wear
  • stain resistant
  • Ruggedly built
Cons:
  • Not available with right side spare mag pocket
Best Used for:
  • shooting range
  • field work
  • Daily wear

Winter or heavy duty work

by Christopher Lichowicz, Verified Owner from MI, United States Written on August 24, 2015
These are a polyester/canvas material that's a lot thicker than their ripstop nylon pants. Very solid material, treated with teflon like all Propper Tactical pants. They haven't faded yet and they're wrinkle free after washing and drying. I do a warm wash/cold rinse and then low heat drying them. They come out perfect for a slacks hanger. All the standard pockets, seams are tight and double stitched. Great for everyday wear!
Pros:
  • Pockets
  • stain resistant
  • Teflon coated
  • materials, construction
  • True to size.
Cons:
  • Not enough every day colors
Best Used for:
  • Work
  • Play
  • Being around babies

Propper Men's Tactical Trouser

by JOHN MCMAHAN, Verified Owner from NE, United States Written on April 19, 2015
Quality construction. Fit and length are true to size. Loose fitting but not baggy. Knee pads can be used, but leg bottom does not have a drawstring. Large back pocket with inner pocket is nice feature.
Pros:
  • good quality
  • Can insert knee pads
Cons:
  • No drawstrings for bottom of pant leg

Propper Men's Tactical Trouser

by Denmar, from OH, United States Written on March 24, 2015
A repeat purchaser of these pants. Recommended. The only weak point I have found is the pockets which wear out from change and keys before the rest. Unlike GI apparel, they are made from a different fabric than the rest of the pants.
Pros:
  • Value for the price
Cons:
  • Pocket wear
Best Used for:
  • Daily use

I found these to be comfortable to wear out of the package. The construction is very good, with reinforcement at stress points. I have worn other brands of tactical pants, and have found Propper to be superior.
