Beats the night - OpticsPlanet Exclusive Pulsar Core RXQ30V 1.6-6.4x22mm Thermal Imaging Rifle Scope

I have significant hog damage to my ranch, so depending on conditions, I use several night vision scopes. ATN and Pulsar-they work well in low sun light, full moon, are easy to sight in, worthless in dark dark without adding IR illumination.

I bought this scope to match my hand held Flir to keep hunting any night. Remarkable clarity, but still can't shoot through branches at spotted hogs. Hogs standing in high brush can be seen but sometimes brush cover will "hide" a target requiring more time to verify I am not shooting at my wife's large dogs! A major pain to sight in. I bought an expensive target for thermal, was just the same as hand warmers on cardboard. Once corrected, leave it alone.

You can see further over open land than you should be shooting. Pulsar is well made and high quality.
