Great thermal for the $$ - Pulsar Quantum HD19A 30Hz 640x480 Thermal Imaging Monocular w/ 2x Digital Zoom

I recently purchased the Pulsar Quantum HD19A 1-2X for glassing fields at night when I pig hunt. I was a little worried that I would not be able to see and ID targets with it since it has such a small objective however, I was shocked at how well I could see pigs, deer, and coyotes out to 300 yards and could make them out. I had used other thermals in the past both in civilian and military application and always liked them for making positive ID of my targets. I would suggest this light compact unit to anyone who is getting into night hunting where a lot of walking is required. I have used it in the last week in heavy fog and could still make out my targets. Battery life is good and I like the idea of AA batteries over the internal battery in some of the other models offered. AA batteries are not expensive and I can load the extra holder drop it in my pocket and hunt all night on 8 batteries. I will be buying more Pulsar products in the very near future.
