the item is grey as shown in the product image. Coloration is determined by the clear coat anodizing process thus any variation of the color grey may come out as what some could call "black"
Best bet is to assume this will be as shown in the picture (grey)
Absolutely amazing Q handgaurd
I bought the HB with the extended handrail and never really liked it. Happy to find legit Q handrail. It’s super light and took less than 2 mins to swap out. Didn’t reduce weight much because both handrails weigh practically nothing. Super happy. Will buy from opticsplanet again.

High Quality for a Shorty Build
A very good and very lightweight handguard for your pistol or SBR build. One word of caution...the receiver end of the handguard does *not* butt up to the upper receiver but is intended to fit over the end of the receiver. The construct of some (billet) upper receivers will not fit with this setup. In my case, a CMMG Banshee upper receiver. It will fit over mil-spec style forged uppers, but check billet uppers for fitment issues.
